And isn't it time you got over what has been mis-labelled climategate and started thinking about the climate itself. (That is a classic denier distraction in your post, by the way!) As you well know, or should by now as you seem to be interested in the matter, there are many reasons why researchers are not able to release information that has been provided to them. One of the primary ones being that it is not theirs to release (as is the case with CRU being granted access to information owned by other parties). It is up to the owners of information to determine if, how, when and to whom that information is to be made available.
Back on topic, are you going to praise the climate scientists for picking up the error? Or are you going to leave the erroneous impression that it was a climate scientist error, not an error in a press release, and prove my point about deniers.
