    Hi

When ourchild was at school he and all of the students in his school, had to watch ‘AnInconvenient Truth’ (twice - in year 7 and again in year 10). Many of his teachers also informed him and other students that AGW will, unless man made CO2 emissions are significantly reduced, result in catastrophic outcomes (I personally know several teachers who teach this).

However, counter arguments, such as those articulated by Prof. Ian Plimer, Dr. PatrickMoore, Prof Judith Curry, Prof. William Harper etc., were not provided to ourson and many other students. I prefer students to examine and personally assess arguments ‘for and against’ and determine their own conclusions.

There is noNational or State compulsory curriculum on Climate Change in Australia – yet. My understanding is that other countries, e.g. Italy, are introducing such courses. Sounds reasonable, but will students be examining and personally assessing arguments ‘for and against’ and determining their own conclusions?

    Regards
