    Inculcation is an Australian tradition.

When I was schooled Australia invented everything to do with agricultural farming. Expeditioners were the sole enclave of Oz. The British were the pinnacle of modern civilisation and the Ozone Hole was going to give us all skin cancers. Smog and lead were going to make us ill or mentally retarded, DDT wasn't the best thing to use around chook sheds and some notion about limbless babies from pesticide sprays. Innoculation against diseases was considered a good thing on the weight of probabilities.

Whatever nutcases in the education department came up with those Alfoil Hat mantras must still be around if they are using chemistry and physics to explain environmental sciences.biggrin.png
