I think that the heart of the matter is quite simple.

The models that are the basis for CAGW predictions based on CO2 emissions have(apparently)been falsified ie. continued CO2 emissions have failed to cause increased warming.

If the models are falsified then what is left of the theory?

We saw in the climategate emails climate scientists unsure of where the heat went (Trenberth's travesty comment)which was contrary to the confidence they exhibited in public.

So if the scientists directly concerned can't find massive amounts of heat then that is another reason not to trust the models or their promoters.We are getting quite sick of "experts" who speak out of both sides of their mouths and charge us heaps for it.
