    The taps and the hole in the bath are great examples of wetness in the bathroom.

    Agree Till it is an Aussie bathroom, not a US one with
    a John and all the flowing yellow stuff
    - but I digress.

    The water in the bathroom is like carbon on Planet Earth.

    There was lots of carbon when Earth condensed from the
    magma cloud lots of years ago.
    Because of isolation in space and gravity, almost nothing leaves
    and only a little comes in as dust and gas to Planet Earth.

    There are estimates - about 2 tonnes pa is about a median estimate.

    When you "emit carbon"
    It was already here,
    didn't come or go anywhere

    didn't come from Mars for instance.

    Plants grow, with solar energy photosynthesis creates sugar.
    Sugar and the plant are composed of carbon and other molecules
    including water.

    This is a reason why plants don't grow on Mars or the Moon.
