Yes there is evidence that temperature rises have caused increased CO2 levels in ages past. But look beyond what you want to believe is true and read further on this and you'll get to the part where present conditions are different in that CO2 is leading temperature change for the first time in measured historical data. This is the reasoning for scientists declaring we have changed the global climate - the first time any single species has achieved this notorious fact - and thus established a new age, the anthropocene .......
