    Yes probably, it always does and it always will.
    But we can influence it from causing floods like this again? Not in terms of what the climate warriors want to do. That will have a marginal effect some long time down the track and in centuries to come people will ask what the heck did they do that for, as they huddle round their fires.

    The only thing to stop floods reoccurring in the near future is to build more dams and make them bigger. Which will also ensure adequate water supply
