Hi LouL, I am not convinced GW,now termed GC is proven either way. When you consider the Vikings farmed the coast of Greenland for hundred's of years some 1000 years ago and got frozen out,suggesting to me we have a cycle at hand. There has to be more talk of the gulf stream coming in the future and it's effect on matters climate. It is unfortunate we seem to know more about other planets than we know about our ocean's. As far as Carbon tax is concerned it is not unreasonable to suggest this would be to replace the tax revenue provided by the oil excise or tax base at the pump. The worlds economy is an oil economy atm and we will see technology allow us to move more and more toward alternative energy forms thus reducing the demand for oil. There are suggestions that oil is abiotic and can be extracted from great depths ( Russia has been doing this) These ideas may not agree with common beliefs and are only scribed to promote thought.
