You have a few things you can start doing;
You could write to your local MP's asking them to support local Australian manufacturing of renewable energy infrastructure.
You could support Australian businesses such as tindosolar who manufacturer solar panels here in Australia and state "While we currently source components from international partners, we are actively collaborating with Australian entrepreneurs and businesses to increase the percentage of locally sourced materials."
You could sign up to https://www.greenpower.gov.au/our-impact/our-generators who will offset your energy consumption.
