Basically, PF said that it was beyond belief that Plibersek would help facilitate a further appeal — this time to the High Court — against the decision taken by the Independent Planning Commission, subsequently confirmed by the Land and Environment Court, to approve the extension of WHC’s Narrabri mine. This was reported in some detail in The Australian earlier this week, with Paul Flynn’s strong reaction quoted directly. He was clearly angry and frustrated that these lawfare activists continue to play their disruptive games against the wider community interest, aided and abetted by the federal government and its agencies.
