There is no universal law that says the truth has to be in the middle. It sometimes is, sometimes isn't.

Just to further your point about economists though is that only leftist economists ever appeal to their own authority. Milton Friedman and Ludwig von Mises never said "trust me and all of my mates who peer reviewed my work".

Whenever you hear the phrase "economists reckon" chances are you're about to be fed Keynesian drivel.

Proper (right wing) economists provide immutable logic and don't brag about their PhDs. As Alex has demonstrated time and again, climatologists (and left economists) are literally incapable of arguing without appealing to authority.
