So you've identified a problem (great job) lets work out a solution like adults! Ok, so lets not put solar farms on land that farmers use to grow crops! simple!

1000kms away? One need only drive a few hours West of Brisbane (lets say, less than 500km) and you'll find vast areas of land certainly suitable for solar farms. Furthermore, many communities are already set up there.

Your article even suggested some solutions for farmers as well;

So instead of throwing up your arms and saying "its all too hard and expensive" lets roll up our sleeves, solve the problem, adopt solutions, more adoption of the technology brings down the price, and everyone benefits.
