Of course. The market, including the electricity market, should be technology agnostic and free market forces should dictate which technology is used, not politicians. If thats solar, gas, coal, nuclear (fission/fusion), geothermal. the market needs to experiment and the best technology needs to win. Thats how we progressed from floppy disks to USB drives, and from horses to cars.
