I think the denialists have unwittingly proven the 97-99.99% correct. I'm sure you've come across the widely publicised recent list of 500 scientists who reject human greenhouse gas emissions-driven climate change, who signed a letter to the UN. You may have even posted about it on hotcopper yourself, definitely a few of your buddies on here have posted about it.
This list of 500 'scientists', the best the denialists have come up with yet, contained almost no climate scientists, and very few in the broader category of earth sciences. It included psychologists, philosophers, doctors, engineers, architects, 'business figures', lawyers (lol), a radiogropher and a pilot! To even have the audacity to call this a list of 'scientists' is hilarious!!
And this was all they could manage GLOBALLY.
You'd think if there are plenty of climate scientists out there who reject the consensus, they'd be outraged at this supposedly fake 97% and attach their names to this letter. Surely? Or maybe they don't actually exist?
