The USSR was choc full of countless Red Professors. Some even won Nobel Prizes. (All were cowards except for a handful. )

They managed to put a man in space as well is build the MOABs.

They all knew that if they rocked the boat that a soviet shrink would label them as insane.

Hence they lived a cowardly life and went with the flow.

Teals present as a go with the flow wealthy upper petty bourgeois insular elitists who are convinced that the sun shines .......

I don't think they are corrupt. Just too naively cowardly to face the hard facts.
