According to the IPCC surface Temperature and Incoming solar radiation at the surface are interchangeable.  They spell it out in their reports.

Watts = sigma(Stefan-Boltzmann)*Temperature (kelvin)^⁴

I dont understand why you are questioning the science of the IPCC and the interchangeability of their science?

It is like you questioning Charles Law or Boyles Law.  WHY??

It is a LAW mate and I can pull that from the IPCC.  But you already know that anyway.
