    @Furpo2; adding energy into our oceans and our atmosphere is not unlike turning up the heat on a pot of water that's already simmering - the circulation speeds up as evaporation increases and the boiling water becomes violently active.

    The strength of cold / warm ocean currents has increased, so too air masses travelling across land and oceans. Their interactions are becoming increasingly volatile because they've more energy to drive them.

    When global phenomena such as the Indian Ocean Dipole and El Nino coincide weather events become profound and periods of drought vs floods are exacerbated ... think Madagascar vs NSW!

    Sticking your head in the sand at your local beach won't stop what's already coming our way. Nor will chucking mud at reputable climatologists and meteorologists stop the impact of still rising levels of greenhouse gases due to human activity.
