    Hi Zip. I am not an alarmist, but I do believe the science behind the increasing changes to our weather patterns and habitats.

    The likeness you claim of science to church faithful I think is beneath you.

    Sea levels have risen on average 8 inches since 1880. 3 inches in the last 25 years. How long for the next three inches and the three after that?

    Humanity has done little to react to changes over the last 40 years despite widespread recognition and acceptance and we should all be concerned if we sit on our hands for the next 40. As well as habitats changing, agriculture may well be affected.

    The smartest thing we can do is mitigate whatever we CONSIDER through scientific means is causing our planet -our home- to change. This will lessen the impact on humanity giving more time to respond to change.
