All we are getting is a parroting of the greens 'Static Climate' mantra wherein the climate can only change because of CO2.
So they love the temperature of 1850 which was at the tail end of the little ice age. They then claim that this temperature was the 'normal' temperature.
Of course as the current warming phase kicked in it began to warm the oceans which, hullo, has been expelling CO2 as it always has.
Why? One of the early drivers of the scam was from the big bourgeoisie who wanted to stop the West's dependence on Arab oil. Petro dollars were buying up vast swathes of Europe and the USA. There was also a push by a Swedish gas company to label coal as dirty so that they could replace coal with gas.
Academic opportunists twigged immediately that there was a goldmine to be had and hence the scam was off and running. We should note that those enemies of democracy such as China and Russia are exempt from taking action. The scam walks like the proverbial duck, swims like this duck and quacks like this duck and hence is the proverbial scam.
