yet what can we Aussies do about China, which is doing far more toward reducing emissions than Aus at the Gov level. the China plan may seem inadequate, and I agree, yet they have a much bigger ambition to lift the nation out of poverty as a first priority and managing the transition as well. in such a large nation this is an incredible proposition.

they don't seem to be doing much but at least the Russian Gov made a commitment to 2030 and 2060 targets. Better than the Morrison mob.
Nothing will "stop MMCC" without reducing emissions. or transition to non-GHG emitting fuel sources.
yes, I'm appropriately concerned about China, Russia and all other states which aren't doing much. but as the saying goes, clean up your own backyard before throwing criticisms at others and our backyard is not too bad given the lack of direction and planning.... we should be doing so much better imo.
