The point about Glasgow is to get everyone within the tent and come up with consensus on meeting a global target of net zero by 2050 (2060 for China).
They tell us that this will stop MMCC.
The point I made is that China is by far the biggest emitter so if China is not "in the tent" - will it make any difference to MMCC what the ROTW does? In fact is there any point to Glasgow? Does it simply become a giant talkfest? And so on and so forth.
