    "Someone should tell him that CO2 was 5 times higher in the Jurassic " ...... but no humans alive at the time... in fact very few mammals as they were only just evolving at the time..... and this was during the most recent massive volcanic activity caused by the collisions of continental plates drifting into one another.

    This time its humans who have caused the increase in GHGs and the shift is more rapid than in the Jurassic.

    you're using a specious fact which doesn't infer anything for our current situation.

    the human species has only been around for 100,000 years or so. during this period the CO2 and temperature levels have been relatively stable. Humans couldn't survive during the Jurassic and we will have more serious challenges ahead of us du to the rapidity of change.
