The Vostok ice cores are very interesting as they have us just reaching the 100,000 year cycle peak. These peaks have been fairly regular for hundreds of thousands of years, possibly billions of years.
Dust particles seem to peak some thousands of years before there is a spectacular 10 to 15,000 year temperature rise to todays level, which then about faces and drops in temperature at irregular intervals for some 85 to 90,000 thousand years, then the cycle starts all over again.
The earths temperature, and that of our solar system have been doing this for time immemorial.Man is making a contribution, just as the small boy when he relived himself in the ocean, but the main changes seem to have a regular regulator, most probably our sun.
The cold cycles increase the droughts and thence the dust, which triggers to warming cycle.
The only way we can really reduce our carbon dioxide out put is to let the majority of people starve to death, and MAYBE we can slow down the cycle by a 1,000 years or so.
I think it best we spend our money trying to live with it ,rather than trying the impossible.Labs tax is breaking thousands of people and not making 1 iota of difference. IMO
