I think they'll have a decent crack at a raising. Too much eroded pride on the line not to at least give it a try.
I agree wrt the sophs. They might (maaaybe) able to attract the odd one here or there who has been living under a rock, but I'm thinking it would amount to no more more than, say, 20% of the next raising, if that, from that group. I'm thinking the bulk of it will be aimed hapless retails in the form of a SPP -- just like RTR's current efforts. And all of this banter is only around the annual 15% headroom auto-reset (to be consumed in one hit), without requiring SH approval, which will effectively cap the raising to bring in enough to last ~4 months until the AGM -- assuming they can get it all away.
It's bleak. At least punters won't be able to say they weren't forewarned.
