I did not realise LPO's had restrictions on what they could service by government policy in terms of delivery architecture . This is another reason why we do not have a free market.
I thought Aust Post was largely a separate entity overseen by government but obviously not at the moment. That would explain why it is so politically sensitive to market realities and how it struggles to adapt to change and competition
