I thought Aust Post was largely a separate entity overseen by government but obviously not at the moment. That would explain why it is so politically sensitive to market realities and how it struggles to adapt to change and competition

Why are identity services done by Aust. Post, not done by Medicare especially where there are Medicare outlets in town??

That way Aust Post can actually run more as a actual business competing with others and reduce its 200 million or whatever losses
