Clinical data required for a deal?

I have long said that pre-clinical deals are done all the time. I have never believed the line that Benitec is waiting for clinical data before entering negotiations with big pharma. Right now, I am sure Benitec would sign any deal offered by a big pharma. If big pharma is interested, structuring a mutually beneficial contract would not be difficult.

WAVE has managed to sign a deal with Pfizer for up to five programs, three of which are yet unknown.

Something is very wrong with our capacity to sell our capabilities. We are constantly reminded how good our technology, so what else could be the problem?
