I've got no problem believing that actually. I think that a rogue department and some middle managers got ANZ into this arrangement without much consultation higher up. The more talented people at the top of the tree would have not let this scheme see the light of day.
However when it hit the fan the upper echelon put us to the sword and try and weasel out of their duties...that is why they must pay and why their name in years to come will be mentioned in the same sentence as Pyramid, HIH etc.....way to go ANZ
