    NY Times top shareholder is one Carlos Slim Helu, a Mexican telecom billionaire.
    If, say, 20 million illegal Mexicans were kicked back over the border then Mr Slim would lose a lot of money. A lot of money. A lot.

    I'm sure that does not influence the NYT reporting.
