"Australian Dairy Nutritionals Group, acquired four hectares of land in 2016 at Camperdown’s Depot and Old Geelong roads for the new factory.“It’s always been Camperdown Dairy’s plan to relocate to a new site and build anew factory,” Mr Melville said.“We will hope to announce very shortly that we will be confirming the building on the new site.”He said the business owned six western Victorian dairy farms that supplied milk to the factory, and those farms were transition- ing to produce organic milk.“Organic milk is actually quite scarce, and if we are to convert our own farms over to organic then we become a big player in a smaller field,” Mr Melville said.He said the business had been planning “for a long time” to produce organic infant formula, with high demand both domestically and abroad."
