Unfortunately marketing and advertising is large in this field, exsoecailly when trying to get established in
various global markets with already established players

Many companies in this field have advertising and marketing budgets well beyond their revenues in the early stages of trying to grow and establish themselves
IMO
Halting their capital spend in this area to preserve cash may halt their growth and establishment going forward
Trying to become a global player imo
Requires significant capital with no guarantees of success
