and thanks to Abbott/Trunbull/Morrison's undermining of university funding, most of the doctors and nurses, radiology and pathology grads are from countries other than Aus and take home their training to help their native hospital systems.
Universities can train them but if they don't work in Aus post-grad the hospitals can't employ them.
we have had health care staffing shortages for 20 years now and new grads are not filling vacancies -
so what does M. do? importing doctors and nurses from overseas.
