IMO, Shorten and CO. would rather cut their own throats - than join with the LNP to get ANY "stuff" through the Senate.
They have lied once more - reneged on their pre-electiion vow to get rid of the Carbon Tax.
We're currently living, supressed, no better than those in Biblical days. The unjust controlling the Parliament, via this Senate farcical set-up - and stealing the Power for themselves. Woth hardly any votes! And laughing as they threaten - our massive mandate vote means nothing to them.
It's all about them - their spite - their hatreds - their lust for having to "win" their own way at all costs - fair, or foul.
We're just the plebs - the working ants - who generate THEIR big fat undeserved incomes. This TAIL - wagging the dog.
Palmer now flexing his muscles in the Pilbara - (must declare a vested interest with my comment here. I and many thousands, own IO shares in a company at present being affected by a certain Palmer mining company decisions - but I cannot discuss details here. See IOH forum comments if interested.)
But my thoughts on Mr. Palmer and his political aspirations were formulated long ago, before this recent mines issue (disagreement) became known to the investing public.
