one would imagine that, if anything, the rich are under closer tax obligation scrutiny than many of the rest of us.

Palmer's tax bills are his private concern. Up to the tax office to sort him out if they're unhappy. He seems to be an amazingly generous benefactor, meanwhile - telling us he's giving heaps to very very worthwhile causes.

Wonder if we could see a list of the PERSONAL charitable donations Gillard and Swan have made over the few financial years since they took up Government office? How much - and to whom? Throw in a list of their personal investments and tax obligations and show us all how they're doing!

They want the rich to be revealed publicly - how about their own affairs then?
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I keep looking back - how the hell did the rise and rise of Dictators like Hitler ever even get off the ground? Because of public apathy, and stupidity? - it's a mystery to me.

We must always be wary - and not become a naive "Neville Chamberlain" clone. Through this one man's tragic (in hindsight) gullibility in vouching for Hitler as "nice" and "harmless", 20 plus plus millions died, and WW2 almost destroyed the world order as we knew it.

And therein the instance of the power ONE MAN can make - a gross misjudgement of character by one incompetent to do the job he had - and that led to world wide slaughter, bloodshed, and mayhem.

That power of one (nothing to do with personal vanity or ego) CAN be powerful, and inspires me to keep posting as I do. Thankfully, there are a majority of like-minded patriots also speaking out and protesting too on this forum, which illustrates the power of many, who DO see what's happening.

"If good men see evil and do nothing" -

Chamberlain, sadly, weakly, grossly misled by the Hitler "dazzle", chose to do nothing. HAD England and France declared war first, as many of their leaders advised, Hitler may have been stopped in his tracks.

They hesitated - and he went ahead with his murderous rampage.

We need ONE decent Labor Party member to admit the truth and revolt. But there isn't one brave enough.

    All too busy practising head-nodding.
