Perhaps Tony recognised that the Labor Party was genuinely pleased to hear the suggestion. Swan thought all of his Christmases had come at once.
Will Clive now be happy with Tony? Let's not forget that Clive has an acute aversion to rejection.....lol
Will Tony be offered a berth on the weird Titanic 2?
Will Clive continue to donate to the party that has rejected his advances?
Tony would be on the phone to Clive as I type, "Clive, I do love you, but only in a monetary way. You stand for the same things that I do...self interest....but please be like me and stop talking to the press. You suffer from the same condition as I. ie, everytime you open your mouth, you make an idiot of yourself. Mr Robb said we must both be quiet together. So please Clive, SHUT THE FLOCK UP!!"
I think Clive deserves his position in the Labor's Secret Weapon XV. Tony is captain, and I think Clive deserves the vice captaincy.
