This is not about the Senate process, it's not about the wording of the amendment, it's not about the assistance of an adviser and it's not about the "tax stalling" or you probably mean the stalling of the repeal of the tax.
It is about power in Politics.
Clive has previously had several disagreements with both the Qld and Federal Coalition.
He is now saying "look at me now" and "do as I say" or I will not play ball.
When the amendment was agreed on, he said "it's my ball" I am going home and taking my ball with me.

I have no doubt there will be a Double Dissolution prior to the next election, but not in the near future.
