I think we are all long term holders by default that most of us bought the shares in the hope of management and market realizing and recognizing the underlying value of the BTA's ip.
And some like me may have bought the shares when they were close to $2. Albeit, I have since averaged down.
2 things I counted on to make good on my investment was
1. a decent settlement with gsk which never came
2. relenza and other drugs in the pipeline
Unfortunately relenza wasn't marketed well and holds an unfair share of the flu market.
Fortunately (only in terms of share price and flukey at best) H1N1 appeared.
LANI et al holds at yet an unrecognized value.
IF, at some point in BTA history, the sp reflects what I believe is a fair price, I will probably divest and buy something else.
I'm hoping for some good result for the sp iin the next couple of months.
And if I still have this holding when the agm comes, I'm happy to toss my vote into some common proxy.
