re: gann farsight exited my spi long volt, take your point, this lateral consolidation is getting a bit long in the tooth... guess you could say its coiling for something..the spi daily chart makes an almost perfect oval, whatever that means.. bit like an egg... lol... and volume is down on the usual daily on average in this period but not obviously tailing off as the pattern progresses ... just go back to basics... whats the trading range.. whats the volume doing at the borders of the range specially... what are oscillators saying (sto, macd, rsi, dmi)... darvas is useful for consolidations too.. where is support and resistance... whats the sp doing at these points.. ie is it getting battered by resistance or holding its own.. is it springing off support or struggling off.. I'll do an analysis and post it soon.. but imo bulls should be happy that this has held so long... its bought time and when you've got nothing else thats the thing to do...
