The Bulletins speculator has an awesome record over many years, up and down. He has a very open portfolio and shows his annual returns every year. One would claim that the writer (Hazlehurst?) has an advantage as he definitely moves stock prices on the day of publication. I think however that he buys and sells his stocks long term not short thus I am not sure how this advantage works out long term. He often makes over 100% pa on penny dreadfuls and deserves some credit for the sustained record even in bad markets.
Huntleys I wouldnt have a clue. Different beast altogether?
I agree with you re junior oilers. Definitely good info for an oilspec trader whom does not have the time to research. Jocam in my view is an excellent "market commentator" a la Quentin Cameron. However Quentin was never seen as a good at making calls on stocks. I guess now Jocam is very public with his "calls" the market will stand back and ultimately develop an opinion of jocam also.
