Love, over here in WA their talking 2020,before gas prices come down because of a gas glut. There are a lot of mining projects "up north" being held back due to a lack of power so they say. The miners are saying give us cheap power so we can open up these projects,the gas suppliers are saying were not going to subsidise your projects-pay the market rate. I read in the NZ herald,may have been the Age,the NZ government could pay all 800 Tiwai point aluminium workers and contractors $200,000 each per year,not to go to work and still make money from not providing cheap power to Alcoa. Damn the dam cried the fantail. Google Latrobe coal to Geelong Aluminium I think from memory the Vics will pay circa 6 billion in subsidies for the jobs at Geelong. Cant write anymore Im booking a holiday to night on the great news of today,Im thinking the Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro,Brazil naturaly. Great work from the negotiating team,I expect an agressive programme from WPL I beleive cue has a very big 35%.
