The sell off did not have to happen, it only occured due to the management of AGS putting a valuation of 11 cents on the share price in order to raise capital.
They should/could have raised at a higher price and issued fewer shares, less dilution etc. By raising capital at 11 cents the share price of course tumbled from the 19 cent range and has left the traders over the last week or so out of the money and wondering what to do next given participation in the shares at 11 cents is only for one in 5 shares held on a yet to be disclosed record date. So there may be some overhang from these players selling into any rallies. Also remembering that there are no doubt a few big holders who bought in much cheaper and may sell out in hopes of buying back at around 11-12 cents but will likely not do so until the record date is known. Having said, the story is good even with AGS's minority ownership in the Beverly prospect. I don't own AGS.
