Hey @oddlogic , it is not a deal breaker and just really a PAS with a bit of attitude that I managed to acquire at the same time I purchased another unit I was looking for .. it's ok I guess but it has limitations.
Sure it can put out a decent image with a bit of editing software , but as a cheap little unit it's ok !
The Olympus menu system needs a bit of understanding as well , I like Olympus mirrorless and I am saving to upgrade to the new Flagstone unit .
If you had to start with a basic unit I would recommend the EM10 , just because it is affordable and it would bring you into the Oly World of cameras I guess .
The camera is smallish , feels robust and has an easy layout for configuration , easy to set up as well .
I am really not a salesman , not a reviewer , just a part time togger !
In all honesty , there is always a better option ......
