During COVID-19, my CFD account went into a shortfall for a small amount of around $100. No margin calls were made and ALL my positions were automatically closed causing a huge loss. Has anyone come across this situation? I was under the impression that they should have closed only those positions which were required to cover the margin shortfall and I am ok with it. I don't think they should have closed all my positions. I am not asking any fin advice but just like to know if anyone has come across the same situation? Thanks in advance.
