Closed at CAD 23.75 (up 25%) in Toronto, just on AUD 26.0 At $20 as you folks know the value was getting really silly, CAD23.75 might be fair value but if the assets life up near to promise there is still a lot of upside for a buyer. Trade buyers will see value (or not ) in Activox way above what the market would imo.
And nickel up 1.4% (measured war monger pesos at least). Should be another good day for nickel stocks today.
Sadly I regret having trimmed AGM just over the $1, and sold a third of LIM soon after the Xtrata bid. If I hadn't nickel would be over 50% of my portfolio. I was badly burnt with last years winter volatility, so have just been doing some derisking, guarding against margin calls and securing some bargain buying funds. Still see a lot of value in nickel stocks, but trying not to let the greed emotion override prudence, caution and logic.
