New slush fund anyone?
A Victorian primary school that closed at the beginning of the year has been granted a funding increase under federal government the Gonski education changes.
This morning, ‘Money Well Spent’ told the 3AW Breakfast Rumour File asked whether the government had given money to a school that was no longer operating.
3AW Breakfast confirmed Thorton Primary School closed its doors in January this year. Despite this, the now defunct school will receive a 120 per cent increase – as outlined by NineMsn.
