Hi all - i was reading some of the posts on this thread and I am surprised the number of people who are still bearish. After the last week, with the market rising on any good news and pretty much ignoring hte bad, it looks like resumption of uptrend and maybe the last and biggest leg of next up move in the markets.Valuations arent stretched near bubble territory in AUS markets by any means so the potential is there for large gains. I said last week watch out for unwinding of short positions over this week and also next week. theres still a lot of investors on sidelines waiting for confirmation of uptrend and if the financial system/subprime affects are managed - or seen to be managed over the coming weeks, these investors could push up share prices in coming months - takes us to dec - intothe new year - looking good china/india expansion still surging.... BHP up (IMHO)
