Power system providers are inherently conservative and there needs to be an external driver to make them take up new technology.

In Germany there are two events driving the grid to look at new options. These are the shutdown of nuclear power which has created a huge hole and the high costs arising from green subsidised power from solar cells and wind.

I believe that Germany needs something[anything] to fix their power crisis.
