Sorry Mr Paul, but there is a definite oxymoron in your last post. IF, as you say, they "hit the jackpot" there is NO way that they will get away with a "shitty offer" for ICN.
Am sure that ICN will also know if they "hit the jackpot" and will be letting the whole world know. This well is being watched by very many as potentially the de-risker of shale gas in the C.B. and the start of a massive shale gas industry in Australia.

IF BPT was to ever take over ICN on the cheap, they have left it far too late with that core sample already being independently assessed.

IMO, "the jackpot" has been hit and now we just have to wait to see how big that "jackpot" is. Am sure that all those "in the know" would already be fully understanding the significance of Halifax-1, but, more work needs to be done before you hear anything from Reg and R.J.
Reg has already started whooping about that gas show in the early stage!!! Can't wait to see the adjectives flowing from Reg and R.J. IF they do happen to "hit the jackpot"!!!

Hopefully, the trading volumes and the SP will give us an early "clue". B.O.L LT holders and those brave enough to jump on board at this very interesting late stage.
