RC in answer to your question about closing time for tips:

Closing time was 11pm AEST for all prior to daylight savings, & Dow opened at 11.30 AEST

Some states are now an hour ahead which means which means 12am AEDST = 11pm AEST is still 30mins before Dow open

I notice the HC post clock is running on AEDST so that is the time that is recorded on posts.

Whether you post from a non daylight saving state or daylight saving state (in the east anyway - sorry guys in the west I dont know how that fits for you) as long as you post by 12am HC time which is 30mins prior to Dow open the post deadline remains the same as previous.

Just a suggestion then - the posts should be in by 12am HC time which will be equivalent to the previous cut-off of 11pm on HC time prior to daylight savings.

As for my tip, I think after a spike like yesterday there will be a small pullback, but what would I know: -37
