To add to zecs’ summary. After initially having various claims rejected in the US, the Patent Office has reset the process - a tacit admission that they may have got it wrong. So the company is actually in the best place it’s been for quite a while regarding patent protection, but in terms of actually achieving it, seems to be some time away. Until that hurdle is cleared, I reckon it will continue to act as a handbrake on the share price.
